Prismara Spaces overview
Prismara Spaces is where your organisation keeps its team and business content — project files, policies, shared templates and anything else a team works on together. It’s a sovereign alternative to Microsoft SharePoint: you open it in your web browser at https://spaces.prismara.eu, and you can keep the files you need in sync with your computer using the Spaces Sync desktop app. Spaces, secured like a vault.
Spaces, libraries and folders
Section titled “Spaces, libraries and folders”Content in Prismara Spaces is organised in three levels.

Permissions flow down from the space to its libraries and folders, so most of the time you only manage access in one place.
Spaces and Geode — which do I use?
Section titled “Spaces and Geode — which do I use?”Prismara has two places to keep files. Both use the same secure storage, so moving or sharing a file between them never creates duplicate copies.

You can share a file from Geode with a colleague, but if a team works on it together or it needs to outlast any one person’s account, keep it in Spaces.
What you can do
Section titled “What you can do”- Browse and upload in your browser. Open a space, find a library and upload files or whole folders.
- Sync to your computer. Spaces Sync for Windows, macOS and Linux keeps the libraries and folders you choose in sync with a folder on your computer.
- Open in Prismara Work. Documents, spreadsheets and presentations open in Prismara Folio, Lattice and Lumen. Editing the same file at the same time with colleagues is coming.
- Go back to an earlier version. Every file keeps a version history, and you can restore a previous version.
- Recover deleted files. Deleted items go to the space’s recycle bin. Space owners can recover items for a limited time even after the recycle bin is emptied.
- Share with care. Share with people in your organisation, or create sharing links that expire.
- Control access. Give people a role on a space, and stop inheriting permissions on a folder or file that needs different access.
- See what happened. The activity view shows who added, changed, shared or deleted what.
Security
Section titled “Security”Every space is encrypted, connections use post-quantum security, and signing in requires phishing-resistant multi-factor authentication. Every view, change and share is recorded in an activity log. See Security and encryption in Prismara Spaces.
