Prismara Gov overview

Prismara Gov is data governance and compliance for your organisation. It is SovSec’s alternative to Microsoft Purview. It is designed to help you understand what information you hold, protect what’s sensitive, keep what you’re required to keep, and show auditors and regulators what happened to it.

Capability	What it’s designed to do
Sensitivity labels and classification	Label documents and messages, such as Public, Internal or Confidential, by hand or automatically based on what they contain.
Data loss prevention	Warn users or block an action when sensitive information is about to be shared, copied or sent somewhere it shouldn’t go.
Retention and records	Keep information for as long as you’re required to, then delete it, and mark important items as records that can’t be changed.
Audit	Search a record of who did what to your information, and when.
eDiscovery and legal hold	Find information relevant to a case, place it on hold so it can’t be deleted, and export it for review.
Insider risk	Highlight patterns of activity that may put information at risk, such as large downloads before someone leaves.
Compliance reporting	See how well your organisation meets its policies, and export reports for auditors.

• Prismara Work and Prismara Spaces. Labels follow your files, so a document labelled Confidential keeps its label and protection wherever it’s stored or shared.
• Prismara Endpoint Security. Data loss prevention extends to devices, so rules also apply when someone copies a file to a USB drive or uploads it from their computer.
