Prismara Reach collects health information from every enrolled device. You can see it in the console and set alerts so that you’re told when something needs attention.

  • The Reach agent is installed on the devices you want to monitor.
  • To create alert policies, you need the Reach administrator role. Technicians can view health and alerts.
  1. In the Reach console, select Devices. The list shows each device’s Status, Operating system, Last seen and a Health indicator.

  2. Use Filter to narrow the list, for example Health: Warning or Site: Contoso Vienna.

  3. Select a device to open it, then select the Health tab. You see current and recent values for CPU, Memory, Disk space, Uptime and Pending updates.

  1. Select Alerts > Policies > New policy.

  2. Enter a Name, for example Low disk space – workstations.

  3. In Applies to, choose the sites or device groups.

  4. Under Condition, choose a Metric, such as Free disk space, an Operator and a Threshold, for example less than 10 %.

  5. Set For at least to how long the condition must last before an alert is raised, for example 15 minutes. This avoids alerts for short spikes.

  6. Choose the Severity: Information, Warning or Critical.

  7. Under Notify, choose who receives the alert, for example a person or a team mailbox such as it-alerts@contoso.example.

  8. Select Save.

When a device meets the condition, an alert appears under Alerts > Open alerts and the people you chose are notified. When the value returns to normal, the alert closes automatically. You can also select Acknowledge or Resolve on an alert.
