Prismara Spaces keeps earlier versions of every file and holds deleted items in a recycle bin, so you can undo a change or bring back something that was deleted by mistake.

  • To restore a version, you need permission to edit the file.
  • To restore from the recycle bin, you need permission to edit in the space. You see the items you deleted yourself. Space owners see everything deleted in the space.
  1. Sign in to Prismara Spaces at https://spaces.prismara.eu and open the library that contains the file.

  2. Select More options (…) next to the file, then select Version history.

  3. Find the version you want. Each version shows when it was saved and who saved it.

  4. Select Open to check the version’s content.

  5. Select More options (…) next to the version, then select Restore.

Restoring doesn’t delete anything. The version you restore becomes the newest version, and the version it replaces stays in the history.

When you delete a file or folder, in the browser or through Spaces Sync, it goes to the space’s recycle bin.

  1. Open the space and select Recycle bin in the left-hand pane.

  2. Select the items you want to recover.

  3. Select Restore.

The items go back to their original location, with their version history. If the original folder no longer exists, it’s recreated.

Items are removed from the recycle bin when it’s emptied. A space owner can still recover them from the Second-stage recycle bin for a limited time.

Contact a space owner with the name of the item, where it was and roughly when it was deleted. To find the owners, open the space and select Members.

The restored version or item appears in the library. Synced copies on your computer update automatically.
